Appointments. Bookings are confirmed by message or phone with an agreed time, place, and fee. Every signer must appear with valid government photo ID; without acceptable ID the notary cannot proceed and a travel fee applies to mobile visits.

Fees and payment. The fee confirmed before your appointment is the fee you pay — no additions without your approval. Payment is due at the signing by card, transfer, or cash. Government and consular charges for apostilles and legalizations are billed separately at cost.

Cancellations. Reschedule or cancel free of charge up to four hours before your visit. Later cancellations and no-shows for mobile appointments incur the quoted travel fee.

Scope of service. Stampwell performs notarial acts only and does not give legal advice or draft documents. If a document cannot lawfully be notarized — for example, an already-signed jurat the signer will not re-sign — we will explain why and suggest next steps.

Liability. Our responsibility is limited to performing the agreed notarial acts with professional care and in compliance with state law. We are not liable for the contents of your documents or for decisions made by receiving agencies.
