Bring the unsigned document and a valid government photo ID such as a driver's license or passport. If witnesses are required, bring them along or ask us to provide one.
Yes. State law requires every signer to appear before the notary in person, or via an approved remote video session, so identity can be verified at the moment of signing.
Absolutely. Family members, caregivers, and office managers book on behalf of signers every day — the signer simply needs to be present with ID at the appointment.
Every Stampwell notary carries a state commission certificate and ID badge. You can also confirm any commission through your Secretary of State's online lookup.
Life happens — reschedule free of charge up to four hours before your visit. Cancellations with less notice incur a small travel fee for mobile appointments.
Most single-document signings take fifteen to twenty minutes. Larger packages and apostille filings typically complete within two to five business days.
Yes. Mobile visits run until 8pm on weekdays with full Saturday availability, and same-day slots open every morning. Premium and Custom packages include priority scheduling.
Standard in-office signings start in our Basic package at $200 per project, mobile Premium visits at $320, and complex or volume work is quoted custom. You always approve the exact fee before we travel.
